This course provides a theoretical framework for understanding and analyzing major financial problems of firms. The main contents of the course are associated with investment decisions, capital financing decisions and dividend payout decisions. The module also covers basic concepts of time value of money, discounted cash flows and provides an introduction to financial statements as well as corporate financial statement analysis.

This course introduces students to the main issues in financial technology currently being applied in businesses, including blockchain technology, cryptocurrency, and the development of smart contracts. The course also covers fundamental topics related to peer-to-peer financial services , digital wallets, and asset management on new technology platforms. Additionally, the course equips students with knowledge about decentralized finance (DeFi) and the impact of Fintech on financial activities and other related business operations.
[RMD3001] Research methods
This course provides students with knowledge related to the fundamental issues of conducting scientific research in the field of economics and business. The course content will encompass the entire process, from identifying research problems, designing research, collecting and analyzing data, to writing research reports. Students are also equipped with skills to implement a specific research project.
