True Ticket ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the True Ticket mobile application (the "App").
True Ticket is an event ticketing platform with two user roles:
Organizer: creates and manages Expo (exhibition/event) listings.
User (Attendee): searches for Expos, books tickets, and checks in at the venue using a QR-coded ticket.
1. Information We Collect
A. Information You Provide
If you use the App as a User (Attendee): When you book a ticket or check in at an Expo, we collect details linked to your ticket, such as your Name, Mobile Number, Company Name, Location/City, and Number of Members attending.
If you use the App as an Organizer: When you create an Expo, we collect the Expo details you provide (event name, venue, schedule, description) along with your Organizer contact information (Name, Mobile Number, Company/Organization Name, and Location/City) so the event can be listed and managed.
B. Ticket and Verification Information
Each ticket generated by the App is assigned a unique Ticket ID, and each event is assigned a unique Expo ID. These identifiers are used to generate the QR code on your ticket, verify entry at the venue, and prevent duplicate or fraudulent check-ins. We do not collect your device's hardware identifiers.
C. Geographic Coordinates (GPS)
The App collects coarse and fine location coordinates (latitude and longitude) to identify which Expos are active near your current city or district, and to show relevant events in your event listings and maps.
D. Device Permissions Used
Camera Access: Used by Organizers to scan attendee ticket QR codes at entry gates.
Location Access (Fine & Coarse): Used to detect your location so nearby Expos can be shown to you.
Storage Access (Read & Write): Used to save and store your ticket as a PDF pass locally on your device.
Internet: Used to communicate with our server APIs to process bookings, check-ins, and load Expo schedules.
2. How We Use Your Information
Process ticket bookings and generate QR-coded ticket passes.
Verify and validate tickets at Expo entry gates using the Ticket ID and Expo ID.
Provide location-based Expo recommendations and maps.
Enable downloading and local storage of ticket passes in PDF format.
Prevent fraudulent or duplicate entries to event venues.
Allow Organizers to view attendance metrics and manage check-in logs for their own Expos.
3. Sharing of Your Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information under the following circumstances:
With Event Organizers: If you book a ticket, your check-in information (name, company, and check-in time) is shared with the Organizer hosting that specific Expo, so they can manage attendance for their own event.
Service Providers: We may share data with service providers (such as Google Maps APIs) to provide location-based services.
For Legal Reasons: We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.
4. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data from accidental loss, unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure.
Encryption
Data transmitted between the App and our servers is protected using HTTPS (SSL) encryption.
Secure Storage
Visitor records, ticket details, Expo data, and check-in logs are stored on secure servers with restricted access controls.
Access Control
Only authorized personnel may access your information, and only when required for technical support, maintenance, or compliance purposes.
While we strive to protect your information, no electronic transmission or storage method is 100% secure.
5. Account and Data Rights
You have the right to access, update, correct, and request deletion of your personal data.
Logging Out: You can log out of your account at any time using the Logout option available in the App settings.
Requesting Data Deletion: The App does not currently offer an in-app account deletion option. To request deletion of your account and associated personal data, please contact us at the email below. We will process your request and confirm once your data has been deleted.

6. Third-Party Services
Our App may use third-party tools such as:
Google Play Services
Google Maps API / Geolocator
These services may collect information used to identify you in accordance with their respective privacy policies.
7. Children's Privacy
Our services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" above.
