We are building a community oriented Group Ketamine offering that will occur on a monthly basis. We are currently inviting Santa Cruz, Monterey Bay and SF Bay Area clinicians who feel called to this unique modality of deep healing.
Participants should have experience in therapeutic settings, feel comfortable with guided journey work and/or participating in therapeutic groups or circles. The work we offer is oriented towards self-discovery as well as healing from trauma, depression and anxiety. We will be integrating mindfulness practices, Gestalt therapy, psychodynamic, movement/somatic awareness, ceremony and breathwork among other healing modalities as a way to tap into the soul level and realm of the unconscious.
This workshop is not a training in offering KAP for individuals or groups, however it may be an experiential complimentary session to other training programs.
Ketamine-Assisted-Psychotherapy (KAP) is a unique modality of Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy with a focus on mindful and intentional journey work (Wolfson, Hartelius, 2016). We share a non-directive approach similar to offerings in Holotropic Breathwork, MAPS-MDMA-AT, Polaris KAP and other mindfulness and somatic based approaches. Ketamine for these sessions will consist of sublingual (SL) lozenges that each participant shall bring and take according to their own medical assessment and prescription.
This workshop includes a 2-hour preparation session, 5-hour guided journey and 2-hour integration session. These are all group sessions. We offer a sliding scale of $500-700. This cost only covers group therapy and does not include any lodging or the required prior medical assessment and KAP prescription. If you have any questions about this please send us a note.
We are a diverse group of therapists, guides and healers based out of Santa Cruz County. Our vision is to offer accessible group-based healing journey modalities. We are all trained in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy modalities and Ketamine specifically through training programs and institutions including CIIS CPTR, MAPS, Polaris, Fluence and others.
While each persons experience is unique, it is common for clients to report:
A “time out” from ordinary mind and reality
Decrease in negative or obsessive thoughts and negative self-talk
Profound shifts in perspective on self, relationships, and worldview
A more positive outlook on challenging life situations and relationships
Increase in self-esteem and self-compassion
Enhancement of creative problem-solving abilities
Greater motivation for lifestyle or behavior changes
Relief from existential distress
Potential of having a spiritual or mystical experience
