This year’s theme, “Second Chances Change Lives,” carries a powerful message—especially for our youth. Too often, young people are only given a true second chance after incarceration. This summit shifts the narrative by focusing on prevention and proactive opportunities, offering youth the guidance, mentorship, and resources needed to avoid prison altogether.

Through panels, workshops, and community engagement, the summit will highlight how education, opportunity, and support systems can change the trajectory of young lives. Together, we are committed to building a community where second chances don’t start behind prison walls, but in the everyday opportunities we create for one another.
