The B&A Trail is a paved Rails-to-Trails path that stretches 16 miles (one direction) from Boulters Way in Annapolis to Dorsey Road in Glen Burnie, Maryland.
Start at the Thomas A. Dixon, Jr. Aircraft Observation Area to view airplanes take off and land from BWI Marshall Airport.
The Earleigh Heights Ranger Station (ca. 1889) is located in Severna Park with parking available on the premises.
A gazebo, horticultural gardens and park benches are found at the Hatton-Regester Green property in Severna Park.
The paved Broadneck Peninsula Trail starts at Bay Dale Drive, continues along College Parkway and ends at College Parkway East. The trail includes a spur to the Broadneck Library and a spur to Walnut Ridge Drive along Cape St. Claire Road. The trail's total distance is 2.4 miles including the two spurs. Parking for the trail is available at Broadneck Park.
Kinder Farm Park is a 288-acre park with a variety of activicits to include walking, biking, bird watching, and picnicking. Bring the grandkids to the amazing playground and working farm where they can interact with farm animals.
The South Shore Trail uses the road bed of the WB&A Railroad between Odenton and Annapolis. Eventually this trail will connect with the Colonial Annapolis Maritime Trail on the east end and the SB&A Trail on teh west.
This 6.1 mile trail intersects the Two Rivers community. Start on Conway Road at Sunny Ridge Dr and take it all the way to Expressway Pit Beef. Or take take the trail along Conway Road headed west to the water tower. There is a switchback trail down hill that leads you to the Patuxent River. Located on the Severn River, Jonas and Anne Catharine Green Park offers a sandy beach for cartop boat launching and picnic area. Easy access to sandy launch beach is about 50 to 100 yards. Kayak across to Annapolis or the Naval Academy, or wind along the shores of the Severn River.
Lovely park located near Annapolis. It was ideal for a picnic, kayak rentals and hiking. It features a dog park and a dog beach. Many dog owners were there enjoying these amenities over the Memorial Day weekend.
