Team 3952 exists to inspire young individuals to find interest in and become leaders in a multitude of fields— including science, engineering, programming, entrepreneurship, and arts— by engaging in student-led programs that inspire innovation, build technical capabilities, and foster the development of real-life skills— including self-confidence, communication, and leadership. The team aims to inspire not only team members but also members of the community to whom the team will reach out through community service events.

What Members Learn
_______________________________________
Team 3952 consists of several subteams including mechanical, design, business, media, and more. Members gain expertise in their selected subteams and use the knowledge gained to collectively work towards a single goal.
From volunteering at STEM fairs to helping judge FLL (First LEGO League) competitions, members are exposed to the local community through each outreach event.
Through inter-subteam relations, members gain experience communicating with other "departments" and people, preparing them for future job or internship experiences.
About us
Our Origins
_____________________________
Founded in 2011, Team 3952 began as a small group of students with a goal to be more involved in the STEM field. With a collective goal in mind, these students - though equipped with few tools and little resources - built a competitive robot to participate in in the 2012 FRC season.
In spite of these obstacles, Team 3952 won the "Rookie Inspiration Award" at the Los Angeles Regional.

Over the past few years, Team 3952 has steadily improved their ranking year after year. From placing 40th at OCR in 2024, we have improved to placing 13th this year at the CA District Orange County Event.
Regarding improvements in the workshop, Team 3952 has gained access to 6 Bambu X1Cs. Additionally, we have a CNC router that is currently being shipped which we hope to integrate into our manufacturing process.

Team 3952 hopes to continue rising in the ranks and further expanding our outreach programs. During the 2027 season, we are hoping to qualify for SoCal DCMP in hopes of securing a spot at the FIRST Championship in Houston, Texas.
