One of the first languages I touched as a programmer that I used actual syntax and not block code. p5.js is a JavaScript library that makes it easy to create interactive and creative visualizations, animations, and games for the web. It provides a simple and intuitive syntax for drawing shapes, images, and text on the HTML5 canvas element, as well as for manipulating sound, video, and user input. p5.js is designed to be beginner-friendly and can be used by anyone interested in learning to code, regardless of their experience level.
For this project, I wanted to highlight Billie Eilish’s Early Career and pay homage to one of the earliest works of her discography entitled: Don’t Smile At Me. The interactive part of this project is when the user presses the Space Bar the title of the album appears in a demonic-looking font and plays one of my favorite songs off the album: idontwannabeyouanymore.
For this project I wanted to focus on winter by making it interactive as well as a winter wonderland. This particularly tough to get the snow to fall randomly. The interactive part about the snowman is that the scarf can change to the colors: Blue, Purple, Pink, Orange, and Green. Also if you press the 'r' key it will switch the scarf random colors.
