History
After being a part of a troop in Sarpy County, Joe Hagerty III and Carla Reese saw the benefit and need of having a Boy Scout Troop in Springfield and started Troop 711 in 2005. The Troop has been active ever since and has participated in community service projects, parades, fairs, and many other activities in the community.
Since its inception, Troop 711 has had 25 Eagle Scouts and has impacted the lives of over 200 scouts.

Troop 711 meets every Monday night from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Springfield United Methodist Church in Springfield, Nebraska.
