Troop 359 Summer Camp: July 19-25 at Camp Tesomas, Rheinlander, Wi
Important Dates:
April-June: Complete Pre Reqs for Merit Badges selected
May ?? SWIM TEST Arrowhead HS Pool (please bring $2.50 in cash for admittance and arrive 10 minutes early dressed to swim)
The swim test needed are pretty simple
1. Jump feet first into water over the head in depth, level off, and begin swimming
2. Swim 75 yards in a strong manner using one or more of the following strokes: sidestroke, breaststroke, trudgen, or crawl
3. Swim 25 yards using; an easy, resting backstroke
4. The 100 yards must be completed in one swim without stops and include at least one sharp turn
5. After completing the swim, rest by floating (usually 15 secs or so)
******Note if you cannot attend this time for swim test alternative time can be arranged please discuss with Mrs Stone
5/?? at Troop Meeting: Pay balance due for Camp,
6/?? Turn in Medical Forms (A,B,C requires Doctors visit/signature), proof of insurance
7/19 Leave for Camp
Other Info:
Costs: Scouts $325 (includes transportation), Adults $150 (Add $30 if not driving)
We will need enough Adults to transport Scouts to and from camp and at least 2 adults to stay at camp all week.
**All adults must be registered as leaders in the troop and have current Youth Protection.
Special Dietary Needs will be accommodated please note on permission slip and discuss with Mrs. Kohls.
