- Register with the Troop - Complete the BSA application form and pay the Annual dues ($98)
- Visit the Scout Shop - purchase uniform, get patches sown on
- Transfer your Scouts Scoutbook account to the Troop - You must give the Troop SM access to your sons account
- Volunteer - There are plenty of opportunities available to help out with the troop and we encourage all parents to volunteer. We always need merit badge counselors and there are a lot of Adult leadership positions in the Troop. Please discuss these with the Scoutmaster or Committee Chair.
- Encourage your Scout attend as many meetings and campouts as possible - 30 years of experience has shown us that the scouts that stay with the program and achieve the rank of Eagle Scout are the ones that were very involved with the Troop when they first joined. Being involved allows them to fully participate i our "Trail to Frist Class" program which is designed to get them to the rank of First Class in 18 months.
- Come on a Campout - We encourage Moms and Dads to come on campouts with their Scout. This will give you a better understanding of how the troop is working and exactly what "boy led" means.
