Our troop emphasizes developing strong leadership skills. Scouts learn to communicate effectively with peers, adults, and the community while planning activities and leading others. We use the EDGE method (Explain, Demonstrate, Guide, Empower) to build leadership confidence and encourage scouts to take an active role in shaping our troop’s program.
Effective communication is key to scouting. Scouts practice public speaking, teamwork, and digital communication while learning to express themselves truthfully, courteously, and confidently.
Outings & Activities: Our troop organizes monthly adventures, including camping, backpacking, rafting, rock climbing, and local outings like ice skating or sporting events—planned by scouts, for scouts.
Service & Community: Scouts live by the principle of "Helping Others at All Times" through service projects like food drives, habitat restoration, and community cleanups, developing leadership while giving back.
Scouts advance at their own pace, mastering fundamental skills through early ranks (Scout to First Class). Whether aiming for Eagle Scout or simply enjoying the adventure, our leaders support every scout’s journey.
