The Annex at Saint Paul the Apostle Catholic Church

The Annex is located east of main parking lot at church. If you are facing the structure, the gate is on the right side accessible from church parking lot. It is a house that was donated to the Church.

For the months of July and August 2026 the focus is Pioneering.
Pioneering in Scouting is the art and skill of using ropes, knots, and wooden poles (spars) to build rustic structures, camp gadgets, and large functional projects like bridges and towers. Often called "backwoods engineering," it teaches teamwork, problem-solving, and practical outdoor living.
Knots and Hitches: Tying ropes securely for different loads.
Lashings: Binding wooden spars together using specific wraps like square, diagonal, or sheer lashings.
Rope Care: Knowing how to whip, splice, coil, and maintain rope fibers.
Common Projects
Small Camp Gadgets: Utensil racks, camp tables, wash stations, and flagpoles.
Large Structures: Monkey bridges, signal towers, gateways, and raised platforms.using ropes, knots, and wooden poles (spars) to build rustic structures, camp gadgets, and large functional projects like bridges and towers.
