All adults who want to attend overnight events (including all campouts) must be a registered leader with Scouting America.
1) Complete the "AB506" Requirements as outlined on the CIEC website. These steps include: Completing online State Mandated Reporter Training, Uploading Certificate of Training, Livescan Fingerprinting, Background Consent form, CIEC Volunteer Form, and then email all these forms to Cynthia Ruiz at the Council Office cynthia.ruiz@scouting.org
2) Register Online with the Troop using this link. ** a 30 day clock to complete the AB506 requirements begin when you register, so it was recommended to us to do this part after you get fingerprinted.
3) Complete Safeguarding Youth at my.scouting.org (re-training is required every 2 years) & position specific training (online) such as Committee Member, Assistant ScoutMaster, etc.
