Scout of the Month

Each month, the SPL (Senior Patrol Leader) and members of the PLC (Patrol Leader Council) decide on the "Scout of the Month". This scout would show their scout spirit and would participate in many of the events the troop attends. Examples would include food pantries, park cleanups, camping trips, troop meetings, etc. The scout would also participate within these events and show their scout spirit. At the first meeting of the month, the Scout of the Month would be announced by either the SPL or the Scoutmaster at the end of the meeting. This is a nice way to recognize the scouts who help and participate within our troop.
