In this court of honor, we gave out lots of awards to our scouts and said farewell to the old scoutmaster and welcomed the new scout into our troop. After that, we all enjoyed food together.

We went to Clark Creek again and had loads of fun in all of the creeks and waterfalls there.

In this meeting, we went over what to put into daypacks and went over our route for our next activity.

We started this meeting off the meeting by deciding on our new patrol the Fox Patrol and determined the patrol leader of the patrol. We also welcomed in 6 new scouts to our troop and taught them som scouting and hiking basic principles.

In this meeting, we went over basic backpacking principles, backpacking first aid, how to pack a backpack, our trial, and for next week's meeting bring your backpack fully packed.

In this meeting, we prepared for Iron Chef by cleaning our cooking gear and configuring the trailer.

In this meeting we started with opping stuff then we had the O.A. come by and four of our scouts were nominated for the O.A. After that we went into patrol corners and discussed some elements of cooking safety like what temperature to cook different meats and general safety. We ended with all the scouts using different types of stoves.

During this meeting, we went over different things about bike safety. We went over what you should do before riding the bike. Check for air, brakes, chains, quickrealse, and handle bars. Always wear a helmet.

During this meeting, we went over how to use a compass and find bearings in the distance. As well as causation paces. we had fun combining both.

At this troop outing, we went to Mt. Bayou to do numerous activities like shouting a bow, shotgun, rifle, paintball gun, throwing darts, and axes. We had a lot of fun however the mosquitoes were awful.

In this meeting, we held our court of honor, an award ceremony to acknowledge scouts who have gained a greater rank or have completed merit badges. Also, scouts who have received other awards, like the Gilkey, and mile swim.

In this meeting, we went over some basic gun safety, and then we repacked the trailer from summer camp for our next campout.

We took a trip to the Sheriff's Office of Lafayette Parish in this meeting. There we went into the building and saw the dispatchers and the real time crime center set up. The Sherif Captain taught us about how they used the real-time crime center to stop crime, and get criminals.

In this meeting, we reviewed some of the basic principles of lashings. We reviewed how to do most lashing with first the clove hitch then rapping, then frapping, and finally another clove hitch. We learned three basic lashings. The square lashing, the round lashing, and the tripod lashing. We made sure we understood by finishing with a relay race.

In this meeting with a first when over some basic of knots. Including the square knot, two half hitches, taught line, and three half hitches. Then we had a knot relay race.

Troop 10 Times is a new thing that I am doing as Scribe. Since I was newly got elected as Scribe I am now starting this as a weekly Article to tell about what we do at campouts and troop meetings so these are the first few.

During this camp out we had a lot of fun. Some of the things we did on it were a lot of advances and three scouts even ranked up. We also welcomed one new scout into the troop. The troop also went canoeing and kayaking in a lake. On this camp out we also did a lot of cooking. We cooked a lot of meals some of them including French toast, hamburgers, biscuits and sausages. There was a lot of cooking. However, it was not all fun and games. We held elections where a lot of new people got jobs, while others shuffled around.
