About Us 

Troops 486B and 486G proudly serve youth from 11-18 years old in the Richmond Hill area.  

Through outdoor experiences and unique opportunities, Scouting America invites every youth to a safe, fun place to learn, explore, and grow. We prepare young people for lives of impact and purpose. The Scout Oath and Law help instill the values of good conduct, respect for others, and honesty. Scouts learn skills that will last a lifetime, including basic outdoor skills, first aid, citizenship skills, leadership skills, and how to get along with others. For over a century, Scouting has helped create generations of leaders and outstanding citizens by allowing boys and girls to explore their interests, serve their communities, and discover their talents through youth-led activities like hiking, camping, and volunteering!
