Troop 419 was founded more than 26 years ago by the late Dr. Ted Cadet to provide a quality, inclusive Scouting experience for exceptional young men and women throughout King County. Today, we continue that mission by welcoming neurodiverse youth and young adults into a supportive community of friendship, learning, and adventure.
Over the years, our Scouts have attended more than 20 week-long summer camps, marched in numerous Renton River Days parades, honored veterans, enjoyed weekend camping trips, fished, boated, and earned hundreds of merit badges. Along the way, they have built confidence, developed new skills, and formed lasting friendships.
We are proud of our history—and we believe we are only just getting started. All are welcome to join the fun, friendship, and adventure!
Troop 419 is an awesome group of young men led by a terrific group of parents and leaders. We are looking for others to join us
