Weekly meetings are what keep a scout troop running. Whether its planning for the next campout, doing physical fitness. or working on Merit Badges, weekly meetings help a Troop practice and plan for everything they will need to do on hikes, campouts, and summer camp. Troop 377 has meetings every Monday from 6-7:30 p.m.
Scouting for food is a event that the Troop does every year. We distribute fliers all around Fort Meade asking people to donate canned food to a food drive. About a week or two later, we go back and collect any canned food people have put out. It is a really fun activity, and the scouts always look forward to it!
Summer camp is a major part of a scout's journey. Boy Scout Summer Camp is filled with fun and excitement, but is also a big chance for scouts to improve their skills and have a blast while doing so.
Campouts, the foundation of a Boy Scout Troop. Troop 377 goes on campouts every month, and we do amazing and fun activities! Campouts are a great way to advance your rank, and to gain useful experience.
Hikes are an amazing part of scouting. They introduce you to all types of different nature and wildlife. Hikes are fun and enjoyable, and Troop 377 does them every month! I hope you join us on one.
