Positions of Responsibility

In Scouts BSA, every position of responsibility takes real time and effort, and none of them are as simple as they look. Whether it's leading a patrol, keeping gear organized, tracking attendance, or managing troop communications, each role requires planning, follow-through, and patience. Scouts in these positions manage meetings, activities, and expectations from youth leaders and adults. Even the jobs that seem small carry steady responsibilities that can't be ignored. Taking on one of these roles is challenging, but it's also a chance to grow and learn what it means to be accountable to a team.
