Service Hours Opportunities

Parents/Scouts,

I wanted to take a moment to send out a list of upcoming opportunities for service hours. Please remember that service hours are required for advancement, and helping our community is integral to scouting.

We are camping next weekend, October 2-4 at Ockanickon. All the boys camping will also be helping with a road cleanup on the way home Sunday. If you are not camping, we have service opportunities this weekend as well.

Warrington Day is October 3. We'd like 3 boys (older preferably) to help with the Fishing Derby. They are also looking for boys to help monitor the inflatables, the slots are 12-2, 2-4, and 4-6.

St. Joe's is also having their spaghetti dinner on Sunday October 4th. They need a few boys to help set up on Saturday afternoon. They are also looking for scouts to bus tables from 12:45 - 6:30 on Sunday. We will be home from camping by then, so any of the boys can help.

Also on this weekend we have the food stand at Barness Field between 12-4.

As for the Barness Snack Stand, we are looking for 4 boys to manage it each Sunday, 9/27, 10/4, 10/11, 10/18, 10/25, and 11/1. The following slots are filled so far:

9/27: Ayran, Owen, Jonah & Alex are scheduled

10/4: Aryan, Ryan M, Sam are scheduled. I need 1 more scout for this date

10/11: Aryan, scheduled. I need 3 more boys

10/18: Alex B, Zack scheduled. I need 2 more boys

10/25: We have 4 spots available

11/1: We have 4 spots available
