Tournament Format

GAME FORMAT

•  4 games - 7-minute quarters.

•  Teams need to be warmed up and ready to start immediately.

•  Officials will keep to the one (1) full time out and two (2) 30 second (set up only) timeouts and 2 minutes between quarters and 3 minutes at half.

•  Officials start the games right away.

•  If a team is more than 10 minutes late to a game, they will forfeit.

•  If the score is a 7-goal differential, then the clocks WILL run.

•  In case of a tie, two 3-minute overtime quarters will decide the winner. If still tied, it will be followed by 3 minute sudden death quarters until a winner is decided.

ATHLETES

• No athlete is allowed to enter the Amador, Foothill, Granada or Livermore school campus area other than to and from the pool at anytime. All high schools are closed to water polo players and fans. Stay in the pool area only.

FANS

• Any unsportsmanlike like conduct will result in a tournament ejection.

• There is limited shade,  please bring canopies.

• Berating of officials/athletes/coaches/desk worker or other fans will result in immediate tournament ejection.

• Gate fee is $8 for 1 day ticket and $12 for 2 day ticket. Students are free.
