I am a chilean PhD student in mathematics at Northwestern University, advised by Bryna Kra. My research focuses on problems in ergodic theory, with a current emphasis on combinatorial applications.
I am studying infinite sumset patterns in subsets of the integers. The main tools include the Furstenberg correspondence principle, the Host–Kra structure theory, and a series of breakthroughs recently developed by Kra, Moreira, Richter and Robertson.
Previously, I completed my master's thesis at University of Chile where I worked with Alejandro Maass and Sebastián Donoso. We studied partial rigidity for ergodic measures in substitution subshifts, S-adic subshifts and Bratteli-Vershik systems.
