My name is Tristan (Xiangcheng) Humbert. Welcome to my personal website!
I am currently a phd student in Sorbonne University at IMJ-PRG working on (partially)-hyperbolic dynamical systems. I am interested in the dynamics of the geodesic flow on negatively curved manifolds and focus more precisely on the study of Pollicott-Ruelle resonances and rigidity results. My advisors are Colin Guillarmou and Thibault Lefeuvre.
During my master program, I have done a four month research internship at UC Berkeley under the supervision of Maciej Zworski on the mathematical study of twisted multilayered graphene and have kept an interest in the subject since then.
My resume can be found here (last updated in September 2025).
