TripTracker App respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data when you use our app.
GPS Data: The app collects location data to log trips. This data is processed locally on your device and is not shared with us.
Device Data: Some non-personal data (such as app performance logs) may be collected for debugging and improvements.
GPS data is used only to log trips and provide trip-related analytics.
All data remains on your device and is never transmitted to external servers.
The app does not include any cloud storage, account login, or online data sharing features.
The app uses Google Maps to display trip routes. Google Maps may collect data in accordance with their own Privacy Policy.
No other third-party services collect your data.
All trip data is stored locally on your device in a folder you select.
You have full control over your data and can delete it anytime.
TripTracker only collects usage data if you explicitly grant permission by opting in via the app settings. If you choose to share anonymous data or submit feedback, we collect non-personally identifiable information (such as your device name, Android version, and app interaction events) to help identify bugs and improve the app's performance.
We process this anonymous data using secure third-party services (PostHog and Google Sheets).
Analytics and Feedback Retention: We retain this anonymized performance and feedback data for as long as necessary to analyze app stability and guide development, up to a maximum of 14 months.
User Control and Deletion: Because this analytics data is entirely anonymous and not linked to your personal identity, we cannot isolate and delete historical data for a specific user upon request. However, you retain full control over future data collection. You can revoke your consent at any time by unchecking the data sharing option in the app's settings, which immediately stops all future data collection from your device.
This app is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any personal information.
