This Privacy Policy explains how Amine Abiaba and our UK corporate entity ("we," "us," or "our"), collect, use, and protect your information when you use Trip Rank - Drive Tracker.
To provide a professional telemetry experience, TripRank requests access to specific device hardware and data:
Location Data (GPS): We require "Always" or "While Using" location permissions to track your speed, calculate distances, map your routes, and trigger geofenced sprint zones.
Motion & Fitness Data: We poll your device’s accelerometer and gyroscope at high frequencies to calculate precise braking, acceleration, and cornering G-forces.
Driver Profile: You may voluntarily provide a "Driver Alias," Vehicle Make, Model, Year, and preferred driving style.
We prioritize data minimization and on-device processing:
Local Storage: Your detailed, second-by-second trip history and route maps are stored securely on your device using Apple's local databases.
Anonymous Authentication: We use Firebase Anonymous Authentication. You do not need to provide an email, phone number, or password to use TripRank. An anonymous, unique ID is generated purely to associate your device with your leaderboard scores.
Global Leaderboards: If you opt into the public leaderboards, only your Driver Alias, Vehicle Info, Peak G-Force, and Top Speed are uploaded to our secure Firestore database. Your exact GPS routes and live locations are never uploaded to our servers.
TripRank Pro subscriptions are handled entirely through Apple’s App Store and integrated via RevenueCat. We do not collect, process, or have access to your credit card information, billing address, or financial data.
We utilize the following trusted third-party services to power TripRank, each of which adheres to strict privacy standards:
Google Firebase & Firestore: For anonymous user authentication and leaderboard hosting.
RevenueCat: For managing App Store subscription entitlements.
Apple Maps: For rendering route snapshots and live map data.
We may update this Privacy Policy as we add new features to TripRank. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page.
