There is no better way than to spend your summer riding at Triple S Stables! Through hands-on activities your child will develop skills such as teamwork, horsemanship, and responsibility!
Frequently Asked Questions:
Long pants and closed-toed shoes are required for riding to ensure the safety and comfort of all riders. We also recommend bringing a change of shorts and a bathing suit for fun water activities later in the day. Since we spend a lot of time outside at the barn, please make sure campers bring a water bottle to stay hydrated, a packed lunch, and sunscreen. Cooling items such as a small towel, handheld fan, or cooling cloth are also a great idea to help everyone stay comfortable during the warmer parts of the day. Our goal is to keep everyone safe, prepared, and ready to have fun while enjoying their time with the horses! 🐴💧☀️
Yes. Camp is a great way for kids to be introduced to horseback riding! Safety is our top priority. Lessons are supervised at all times, helmets are required, and our horses are experienced lesson horses who are used to teaching beginner riders. Each child will also have a helper nearby that they can always refer back to for guidance, support, or questions throughout the day. We keep our camp groups small so every rider receives individual attention and feels comfortable while learning. Our program is designed for beginner and beginner-intermediate riders, allowing campers to build confidence and develop strong horsemanship skills in a safe and supportive environment. 🐴
In addition to riding, campers will learn about grooming, horse care, basic horsemanship, and horse safety. We also include fun barn games, horse-themed activities, arts & crafts, and water games to keep the day exciting and engaging.
That’s completely okay! Many campers come with little to no experience around horses. Our instructors take time to introduce campers to the horses slowly and safely, helping them build confidence at their own pace. Our horses are experienced lesson horses who are used to working with beginners.
