The Blueprint is St. Xavier's student-run newspaper. Finn has been writing since Issue 3 of Volume 31 and has written over 15 articles since then.
"Christian Hypocrisy", his contribution to Viewpoints in Issue 3 of Volume 32, has garnered acclaim from both religion teachers and Jesuits at St. Xavier, as well as being nominated for Article of the Year at the Inaugural Blueprint Awards in 2025.

Finn also designed the logo of The Blueprint for Volume 33. He is currently Editor of Arts & Entertainment along with Drew Stephens, and on the Cover Design Committee with Franklin Villing and Alex Seery.

"Tropical Jones LIVE! Review (By the Cast)" was nominated for Article of the Year at the 2nd Annual Blueprint Awards in 2026. Finn won the Busiest Beaver Award and the Best Blueprint Junior Award, as well as Section of the Year, for Arts & Entertainment, which he shared with Drew Stephens. Finn was also nominated for Writer and Editor of the Year.

Finn will be the sole Arts & Entertainment Editor for Volume 34, as well as serve on the Blueprint marketing team.
