We are required to keep track of all contact with students as we are a government funded program and they require us to track this information as part of our grant requirements. This information shows that we are fulfilling our grant obligations and providing a valuable service to our students.
How to answer the phone? "Hello! This is the TRiO Student Success Program, (your name) speaking. How may I help you?"
Taking good messages requires getting the following information:
- Name
- Phone or other contact information
- Time called
- Message
