Krzysztof Kaczka, an international flute soloist, chamber musician and recording artist, was born in Torun in Poland. In 2012, he was awarded Gold Medal at the Global Music Awards in USA. He studied at the Musikhochschule Munich (Marianne Henkel-Adorján), Mozarteum Salzburg (Irena Grafenauer), CNSM Paris (Pierre Yves Artaud) and University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna (Wolfgang Schulz ) and played in masterclasses for András Adorján, Jeanne Baxtresser, Julius Baker, Philippe Bernold, William Bennett, Patrick Gallois, Peter Lukas Graf and Carol Wincenc. Krzysztof was also the Artist in Residence at the Banff Centre for the Arts in Canada.
Between 2002-2012, he was the principal flutist of the Munich Youth Philharmonic, Filharmonia Sudecka in Poland, Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra and Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra in China and has shared the stage with Long Yu, Jiri Belohlavek, Krzysztof Penderecki, Stephane Denéve, Maxim Vengerov, Sylvian Camberling, Yo Yo Ma, Lang Lang, Sarah Chang and Midori among others .
Krzysztof has been a winner and finalist of many international competitions (Adelaide, New York, Sydney, Pittsburgh ), and has taken part in numerous music festivals and has performed as a soloist and chamber musician in Europe, Asia, Australia, Brasilia, Peru, New Zealand and USA at Carnegie Hall, Teatro Nacional Brasilia, Wellington Town Hall, City Hall Dublin, Herkulessaal Munich.
Currently, he is a visiting professor at Music Department of the PAAET College in Kuwait. He conducts master classes, clinics as well as workshops in Germany, Canada, Ukraine, Georgia, Malaysia, Nepal, Thailand, Peru, USA, Vietnam and China .
