Thanks for playing Trinket! This page has quick answers and how to reach us.
One player plots a handful of dots. Then players take turns drawing straight lines between them. When your line closes off a triangle with nothing inside it, you claim that triangle. When no legal line is left to draw, whoever claimed the most triangles wins.
For a short illustrated guide, open the app and tap the ? on the Play screen, or go to Settings ▸ How to Play.
Do I need an internet connection? No. Trinket runs entirely on your device — no accounts, no sign-in, and no connection required.
How do I play against another person? Choose 2 Players on the Play screen and pass the device back and forth. To play on your own, choose Single Player to face the Computer at Easy, Medium, or Hard.
Why won't a triangle let me claim it? Two rules catch people out: a triangle only counts if no dot sits inside it, and a line can never cross a line that's already there. The in-app How to Play shows both with diagrams.
How do I unlock bigger boards? Finish a level to unlock the next one, with more dots and more triangles.
Are there ads or tracking? No. There are no ads, no tracking, and no data collection of any kind.
