Trinity trikes started out in 2020 with an idea of making a more affordable Mountain chair for people like myself.C-6 quadriplegic. I looked at other Trikes and by the time I got through the order form with all the bells and whistles I wanted it was upwards of $14,000 which is something I cant afford and literally wasn't going to pay. so I looked around the recumbent tadpole trike world and found something that looked in the ballpark and used it for our test bed,? motor size, battery size, distance what it would do ,so forth and so on. I put a couple thousand miles on that prototype on the first test/trial day I spent over 5 hours in it. While riding around with my buddy during the First covid-19 shut down I found that I couldn't go more than 100 -200 yards without people asking me questions wanting pictures asking where can I get one so from there the idea was born .With much prayer I literally spent thousands of hours making cold calls over the internet and on the telephone trying to find a manufacturer that was interested in my ideas. Our prayers were answered and we were blessed with an awesome manufacturer in Taiwan . Our goal was to get a trike to the market for $3,000 we came close but with the virus covid-19 and shipping and supply chain shortages. I think the $3750 isn't bad. You can find more high-tech off-road chairs but you're not going to find one that has all this Bang for this price. The name Gizmo comes from my mom she was always dropping by to visit and I was never home so she said what were you out on your Gizmo again ?
