Data Interpretation
Due to Trinidad &Tobago being a small island nation, the population is significantly smaller than a large global super power like the USA. This causes a lot of data to be skewed and hard to interpret on first glance. However, when accounting for population we can get a better view of the data. For example, at first glance, one might see that Trinidad & Tobago have a lower unemployment rate than the USA, however, we know this is because of the significantly less people in the work force in Trinidad & Tobago. Furthermore, we can see this in the AQI and carbon emissions. Trinidad & Tobago has more carbon emissions per capita than NYS, however, Trinidad & Tobago still has a lower AQI, meaning the air is less polluted. This is because although NYS has a AQI of 7.4, they have almost twenty times more people than Trinidad and Tobago.Â
