Management of diabetes, hypertension, and other metabolic disorders requires special attention to lifestyle modification and dietary guidance. Although consultation and drug therapy services are readily available in government, corporate, and private hospitals by specialists and superspecialists, lifestyle and dietary counseling often take a back seat due to time constraints in busy medical practice.
To bridge this gap, the concept of Trinetra Point of Care has been developed. It focuses on the holistic management of chronic metabolic diseases by giving due importance to non-drug approaches such as lifestyle modification, dietary advice, and low-cost regular monitoring. This model ensures that patients do not have to change their existing doctors but are instead empowered with the knowledge to effectively monitor their conditions, detect complications early, and take timely action to lead healthier lives without catastrophic consequences.
Believing firmly that "prevention is better than cure", we aim to educate school and college students—the future of our country—about diabetes, obesity, hypertension, healthy nutrition, and other metabolic disorders. This knowledge will enable them to care for themselves as well as their family members, reducing the impact of non-communicable diseases.
One of the key priorities of our initiative will be organizing health education and preventive check-up programs in schools and colleges. Another major focus will be encouraging affordable, preventive health check-ups at our center, accessible to all sections of society.
