"That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:" 1 PETER 1:7
Faith can sometimes come with trials. Speaking to anyone about things that they may not understand (no matter how simple the concept) will oftentimes lead to frustration. Our job is not to try and run from the trials, or try to avoid the trials (though that is a natural response), we are to simply know what to do during them. The instant response for most Christians is to try our best to get the trials out of our lives as quickly as possible. But what happens when God doesn't allow you to get rid of the trials?
Trials oftentimes come during a time when God wants our attention. In the book of 1 Peter, we see that Peter often gives courage and comfort to those that face trials. In 1 Peter 5:10 it says "But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you." God's testing can be a blessing, if we rely on Him to help us get through it.
Your faith is much more precious to God than anything else this world has to offer. Hebrews 11:6 says, "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." God wants nothing more than for you to seek Him, and to do it in a way that shows genuine care. You will be tried, but the fiery trials can cause you to be stronger than you have ever been before if you would rely on Christ for it.
