There are five zones or categories: North, South, East, West and Open!
As the competition is three-pronged (like a trident), the regional finals will be held in these five zones respect to qualification.
You should choose the zone whose finale city is closest to you!
North - Delhi, South - Bengaluru, East - Kolkata, West - Mumbai, Open - Ahmedabad!
You should, also, note that each team can only participate from one zone. So, all teammates should register using the same zone.
The themes for the hackathon are as follows:
Blockchain/Web 3
Digital Life
AI
AR/VR
Health and Environmental development
Miscellaneous
Yes! Actually, it is recommended and appreciated to participate in teams! A team can have a maximum of 4 participants but you can fly solo too! Any person who participates in the hackathon can be your teammate. They can be from your school, a friend or a person you meet at the hackathon too! We would create a team mixer on discord to help you out in the last case. However, your teammate is required to be from your region.
Any student who is currently enrolled in a middle or high school(Grades 5-12) or college in India can participate in the hackathon! You don't need any prior programming experience either. You can learn as you go!
The hackathon is divided into three prongs like a trident:
Online round where all teams must submit an idea and a plan of implementation for the same which will be judged according to the provided Rubric. Guidelines on how to make the submission will be provided closer to the deadline
Regional Finals which will take place according to the chosen region where qualified teams would have to present the demo of the idea submitted in Round 1
In the National Finals, finalists would be given 24 hours to work on a problem statement. Teams will be required to create a solution and give a live presentation on the same in the given time frame.
You can check our devpost here for up-to-date information on the same:
