Tricky Taggers ("the game") is made by Jamoij Productions ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the game collects, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. If you have any questions, contact us at jamoijsponsorships@gmail.com.
Account information. When you start the game, an account is created for you automatically with Microsoft PlayFab using an identifier for your device. We store your PlayFab player ID, the player name you choose, your fur colour, the cosmetics and items you own, and your in-game currency. We do not ask for your real name, email address, phone number or payment details.
Multiplayer information. When you play online, your player name, colour, cosmetics, avatar movements (head and hand positions) and the room you are in are shared with the other players in that room through Photon (Exit Games), our multiplayer provider. Like any online service, Photon receives your device's IP address to connect you, and you can choose the server region in the settings menu.
Voice chat. The game has live voice chat. When your microphone is on, your voice is transmitted in real time to the other players in your room through Photon Voice. We do not record or store voice chat. You can turn your microphone off in the settings menu at any time, and you can mute other players.
Reports and moderation. If you report a player, the report (your player ID and name, and theirs) is sent to our moderation team. To keep the game fair, the game also checks for cheating and tampering; if it detects something, the type of detection and your player ID are sent to our moderation team. We use this information only to investigate and act on cheating and bad behaviour, for example by removing a player from a room or banning an account.
Device and app integrity (Meta Quest). On Meta Quest, the game uses Meta's Attestation API to check that it is the genuine, unmodified copy of the game running on a genuine device. This shares an integrity token with Meta, which tells us whether the app and device passed Meta's checks and includes a per-app device identifier that Meta refreshes regularly. We store only the result of the check with your PlayFab account.
Photos and videos. The in-game LIV camera can take photos and record videos. These are saved on your own device; we do not receive them unless you choose to share them yourself. The LIV camera tools may send anonymous usage data to LIV, under LIV's own privacy policy.
Settings. Your settings (such as graphics, volume and controls) are saved on your device only.
We do not use advertising, we do not use analytics to track you, and we do not sell your information to anyone.
We use this information to run the game: to give you an account and keep your items, to let you play and talk with other players, to keep the game fair and safe, and to respond to reports and support requests.
We only share information with the services that run the game for us, and only as described above:
Microsoft PlayFab - player accounts, items, currency and game data.
Photon (Exit Games) - multiplayer and voice chat.
Meta - the Meta Quest platform and the attestation check.
LIV - the in-game camera tools.
Discord - player reports and cheat detections are delivered to our private moderation channel.
These services process information under their own privacy policies. We may also share information if the law requires it.
We keep your account information for as long as your account is in use. Reports and cheat detections are kept for as long as we need them to moderate the game. You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see below).
Tricky Taggers is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Voice chat lets players hear each other, so please use the mute options if you need them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Turn off your microphone or mute other players in the settings menu.
Change your player name at any time.
Ask us for a copy of your data, or ask us to delete your account and data, by emailing jamoijsponsorships@gmail.com with your player name. You can find your player name on the in-game computer.
Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA; contact us to use them.
We use the security of the services above, and keep secret keys (such as server credentials) off players' devices. No online service is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
