Mobile Library: In an effort to inculcate the habit of reading and also instilling confidence in them for speaking in front of an audience, the School introduced the concept of Mobile Library. In this, a group of four or five students, of a Class, are each given a book by the Library Department for a period of fifteen days. These students then give a short review of their book in the morning assembly. Then the new group is announced. The time period for one Class is two months.
Read-a--Thon: This is an activity for the students of Classes IV and V to develop their interest in reading and giving them the freedom to choose the book they like, from their section. It is the months of July and August. In this, each section is divided further into groups of five students, with one of them being the group captain. The students are issued books in their library period and can return in the next period or whenever they finish it.
