Almost every Friday a group of TnTers get together in central Tokyo for a brick ride + run. We meet year round.
Meeting Time & Place
6 a.m. at the bottom of Edomizaka (down the hill from the Okura Hotel).
Bike
Do bike hill repeats for around one hour taking a break or two.
It's a steep climb, up to 20% incline, but because it's a hill repeat, you can go as slow or as fast as you want, and we'll still be together.
Run
After the hills, we ride to the palace for a 5-10km run, starting at 7:15am. The meeting point is the Health Marathon Clock Tower.
On the last Friday of the month we start at 7:00am and go for coffee nearby after the run. Pace: as slow or as fast as you want. Usually we'll be completely done before 8am.
For TnT members, there is a LINE group called “Friday Morning Pain” (painful to get up that early on a Friday) which is used to co-ordinate who’s planning to ride and/or run, and to cancel in the case of bad weather.
