Do you know someone who has made the world better for GATE students and their families? If so, please nominate them for the Tri-County GATE Council We Honor Our Own (WHO) Award!

     Each year Tri-County GATE Council solicits nominations for teachers, administrators, parents, and community members who have made outstanding contributions to the education of gifted students. This year, Tri-County GATE Council would like to acknowledge the contributions of nominees from the last three years, given the challenges for our GATE community during the pandemic.

     We welcome nominations from anyone including parents, educational peers, and administration. Please note that nominating someone does not automatically mean they will be recognized.

     The final nominees from the nominations will be selected by Tri-County GATE Council Recognition Committee. In addition to notifying the nominee of their recognition, we will also notify the persons listed on the nomination form and the county superintendent’s office. We may also send out press releases.
