In partnership with Ohlone Community College, Fremont Adult School offers Introduction to Engineering/AutoCAD and AutoCAD Drafting Fundamentals. These courses prepare students to take the Autodesk Certified User Exam for AutoCAD, Advanced AutoCAD, and Introduction to SolidWorks.

Metrix Learning offers training for over 100 in-demand certifications. The program includes industry-approved online courses, practice tests, and test vouchers to help learners get certified in 30-90 days. With our workforce development expertise, we administer and case manage participants through the certification process. The certificates can be completed 100% online. COAs prepare students for a career or upgrade job skills for those already in the workforce. COA programs are available to all U.S. citizens (and even some international students). However, students who do not live in California will generally be required to pay higher out-of-state enrollment fees. Contact the admissions office at the college for more information.
Students who meet eligibility requirements and earn an ADT, can transfer to participating universities when they meet certain eligibility requirements. Students may be given an admission advantage when applying to certain campuses or majors after earning an ADT.
Universities are offering Massive Open Online Course (MOOCS) for free. Subject matter includes: Computer Science, Mathematics, Programming, Data Science, Humanities, Social Sciences, Education & Teaching, Health Care, Business, Personal Development, Engineering, Art & Design, and Science. The coursework is free, however, if you need a Certificate of Completion, there may be a charge.
