Post Secondary Education is Not Just a Four Year Degree

The Tri-City Workforce Training Resource is a comprehensive list of low cost, short term training programs available in the Tri-City area, specifically Fremont, Union City, and Newark. This site began as a list of training providers located solely in the Tri-City Area and has evolved to include additional training opportunities throughout Alameda County. Find out information on a program’s length, certification earned at completion, tuition, pre-requisites, supportive services offered, financial assistance, growth industries, and more.

The Tri-City Workforce Training Resource is a product of the Southern Alameda County Workforce Development Project (SACWDP). The SACWDP is a research project for the City of Fremont Human Services Department, the Fremont Family Resource Center (FRC), and the SparkPoint Fremont program.
