This is Jessie's second year coaching and she is so excited to be here! She is committed to building a 7th-12th program, working closely with Black Canyon Middle School cheer coaches to achieve this. She not only has big goals for this team as a whole, but for each individual athlete, and is ready to help them reach their full potential.
TUMBLING COACH: AMY STENQUIST
Amy was born and raised in Great Falls, MT. Growing up she was very involved in many activities from dance to basketball. She started cheering after a severe car accident hurt her knee between her Sophomore and Junior year of High School and she could no longer continue playing basketball. Amy cheered for her Junior and Senior years in High School and loved the friends she made and the experiences she gained. During her Senior year, Amy was a UCA all star cheerleader and was hand picked to be 1 of 2 girls from Montana to preform in the New Year's Day parade in London, England. After high school Amy attended Ricks College where she met her forever sweetheart, Russ. They are the proud parents to 6 beautiful children who all attended school in Idaho Falls. Russ & Amy currently have 3 of the 6 kids living at home. Carly and Kennedy attend TRHS and her youngest son, Garrett is going to be an 8th grader at Black Canyon Middle School. Amy enjoys being a mom, spending time with her family, watching sports, baking the best cinnamon rolls, and being the best friend to anyone she meets. With 11 years of experience as a coach at Idaho Elite Gymnastics, Amy brings much knowledge in tumbling and is very eager to learn more about the competition side of cheering.
Amy can't wait to help the the TRHS cheerleaders reach their goals and become spectacular young women!
