Nick spends most of free time mixing and mastering anything he can get his hands on. Being too young to get employed as a studio engineer, he decided to start a studio in his garage. His father, being one of the greatest drummers he has ever heard, had a 15 year old Windows XP PC and Protools 6.4. at his disposal, and this would become the gateway to audio engineering for young Nicolai. He learned from his father the tips and tricks of the DAW, and also learned to record instruments properly. His first mixes were rough, but they were baby steps to becoming pretty good for a teenager in highschool. After learning from more profesional figures such as Ross Wilson and BZ Lewis, Nick has decided to career as a recording, mixing, and mastering engineer. Nick currently goes to Orinda Academy High School as a 12th grader. He is the head of mixing and mastering at TRS, and co-records with Thomas.
Thomas has been involved with live mixing for as long as he can remember. Starting from learning how to mix theatrical plays in middle school, to becoming THE sound guy at Orinda Academy, it's safe to say that Thomas knows what he's doing. His background in mountain climbing also shows when he wraps an XLR cable perfectly. While Nick Morosini was tranfering to a new high school after his sophomore year, he and Thomas met through their parents, and the two soon discovered their shared love for sound. Nick was excited to work with him in the school's concerts as mixing partners, but Covid soon made that impossible. Alas, the two decided to pursue out-of-school projects, and have been excited and hungry for more since. Thomas now attends Cal Maritime and is the co-recording engineer at TRS, and is the head of live mixing
