Featuring a focus on Arts & Sciences this event will be held at the City Park Field House in Wessington Springs

This year's event is a laid back gathering of our fellow SCAdians.... we are meeting at the Field House in Wessington Springs at 8:00 a.m. and invite you to join us!  


Bring your current projects and come work on them with comradery!  Bring your kits and lets introduce the newest members of our shires to the fighting arts!  It's the perfect day to share with each other and bring your new members!

Bring your period games to teach your friends so we can play all day!

Bring your garb and let's wander over for some photo ops at the Shakespeare Gardens and the thatched cottage!

Bring yourself or bring your shire.... come out and spend the day with us!


We will bring a grill if you want to bring something to grill up... there is a fridge on site as well.  We will provide the water source :)  and some shade!   

No merchant fee; please contact by June 15th to line up appropriate tax information.

Populace Space:  Outdoors and limited indoors.  Accessibility:  Rough, hilly terrain in city park, some level sidewalks around the field house, field house IS handicapped accessible.

PLEASE NOTE GOOGLE MAPS WILL NOT GET YOU TO THE CORRECT LOCATION.  PLEASE USE IT TO GET TO WESSINGTON SPRINGS AND THEN USE THE DIRECTIONS BELOW DEPENDING ON WHICH ROAD YOU CHOOSE ENTERING TOWN.


*when entering from HWY 34  and turning on to Dakota Avenue, please turn west on the intersection of Dakota Ave and 2nd Street SW.  You will see the field house on your right, after the baseball field.  

*If you turn on 383rd AVE please continue until you reach Main Street and turn west.  Follow Main street until you reach Dakota Avenue and turn North.... Please turn west on the intersection of Dakota Ave and 2nd Street SW,  look for the field house on your right hand side after you pass the baseball field.

IF you would like to camp the night and leave in the morning please be advised that there is a rodeo the same weekend in town so electric spots in the city campground may all be in use.  Please contact Julio for camping information.

Camping is available in the city park or in the valley between the field house and the city library.  Period tents are encouraged to camp near the field house (South side of the road).

Camping spots in the park are First Come First Serve.... please note this coincides with a rodeo weekend in town so the city spots might be taken already.  Tent camping for the event will still be allowed near the field house.

FOOD PLAN!

There are several establishments and grocery stores in town.  Everyone is encouraged to bring food or shop local and welcome to meet up at the field house to share company for meal times.
