The Dropscythe(s) lore… It certainly is a mysterious treasure. However zealous the lorekicks may be, we never know what Doppio is really cooking. Still, we’ve tried our best to collect all the crumbs we can get, and compiled the fun facts into your own “wikipedia” (this time we can’t start its name with a “D”, it’s not that kind of project). We’re confident that this first gift of ours will prove itself useful in the future!

Doppio Dropscythe

- A word play on Doppio’s last name “Dropscythe” and “sidekick”
Height: 185 cm + 2 cm heels [32]

Lore Fun Facts

Council command (super power): Double Drops
- Allows Doppio to reflect any attack at double the power. [1], [2a]
- It is implied that this power was given to him by Doom. [3a]
Lives in a game arcade called “D_D Arcade” with all the other Dropscythes.
A delinquent turned rule enforcer. In his original lore video, he punched a car to save the people that it was about to crash into, and that is when he discovered his power “Double Drops”. He was subsequently sent to jail, but got bailed out and offered a place in XSoleil Institute by the mysterious headmaster. This is also where he met the rest of the student council members.
Doppio has hinted that he is not fully human and Ver Vermillion agrees with him. [4]
- As a product, Doppio’s fingernails are not painted black using nail polish; they have been that way for as long as Doppio can remember. [5] His toenails may be fully black as well. [6]
Had an accident in the mountains as a kid and almost died. That was when Doppio met Death (Doom), “beat him up,” and became invincible. [16a]
Haunted by ghosts and other paranormal beings.
- Mysterious mannequins outside his arcade. [35], [36], [37], [38], [39] It is still unclear who or what those "mannequins" are.
- Screams that sound the same as his own voice from the restroom. [40]
- The toilets flush even though there was nobody at home. [10h]

Fan Theories

Doppio has mentioned the Magenta Moon many times in the earlier months of his career, starting around the Inscryption stream. [30] He even once said that he was born under the Magenta Moon. [31]
- It is difficult to define what the Magenta Moon is or why it is important, but “moon” seems to be a common motif in the Dropscythe lore.

Poco Pio

Introduction

Debut Date: October 31, 2023 on Halloween
Birthday: January 31 (same as Doppio)
Oshi Mark(s): 👑🍭
Fan Name: Royal Army
- The fans address Poco Pio as their “King”.
Height: ~160 cm (according to himself [10a])
- However, when putting the model to scale next to Doppio, he looks around 110 cm.
Looks like the younger version of Doppio.
Besides the obvious contrast in size, the placement of Poco Pio’s white bangs is also different (smaller and higher than Doppio’s).

Lore Fun Facts

Despite his appearance, he is a grown adult and the same age as Doppio. [7]
Doppio said that Poco Pio is “evil” because he is manipulative and lies often. [8a]
- “The manifestation of all his evil traits cast aside.” [9]
- Thus, Doppio does not like Poco Pio and is also scared of him. [2b]
Before debut, Poco Pio used to live in a castle (which once belonged to Doom [2c], but he was caged behind bars by Doppio for being “evil”.
Loves candies and all kinds of sweets. His favorites include Pocky, Kit Kat, Dum-Dums, cherry flavored candies, and more. [10b], [10c]
Loves the color red. Poco Pio owns a red rose garden, which is grown from the red superchats given to him. [8b], [11]
- Red roses are also Poco Pio’s favorite flower. [8c]
Goes to art and baking classes in his free time. [10d]

Fan Theories

Although not yet revealed, Doppio and Poco Pio have hinted multiple times that Poco Pio has a tail. [10e]
Poco Pio is often depicted as the greedy side of Doppio, as shown through his love for red and expensive things like ruby.

Doom (Door)

Introduction

Debut Date: February 29, 2024
Full name: Doom And Destruction’s Destined Incarnation: Diabolic And Divine. Delivers Infinity. Darkness Overcomes Oblivion Ookami Reaper, which shortens to DADDIDADDIDOOOR
Oshi Mark(s): 🚪🐺
Fan Name: Doormat / Doommate
Height: 204 cm [12]

Lore Fun Facts

Doom’s previous occupation was a shinigami, also known as the God of Death or the reaper. However, he has put down his scythe since he began living with Doppio in the Arcade.
Made a deal with Doppio. However, it was never explained what the “deal” was about. [3b]
When asked why Doom sounds the same as Doppio, Doppio answered Doom was "using his body," implying that they share a physical form. [3c]
Since Doom is a shinigami, he is neither alive nor dead. [15]
His true name has not been revealed yet. [3d]
Has known Doppio for more than a decade. [3e]
Hates Poco Pio to the core and is also terrified of him. [3f], [3g] This is how Poco Pio was able to strong-arm Doom for rides on his back like a pony during the shinigami’s debut stream. [3h]
- Doom first met Doppio when he was a kid, who looks like the current Poco Pio. This might be the reason why Doom is scared of Poco Pio. [16b]
His fingers are painted by a black smoke and “covered in death.” [3i] Physical contact with Doom’s fingers can cause the person / living creature to die. [17]
Under the bandages on his torso is a long black scar marking how he was originally killed. [3j]
- This mark is also on Doppio’s body, though the reason why he also has it is unknown. [3k]
- The name of the weapon that originally "killed" him is “Hachiroku," and later implied to be a car. [3l], [23]
The three wolves on Doom's shoulder are part of him. They are often referred to as Dog A/B/C, but their real names (chosen during the Doom Room Reveal Stream) are Ares, Biscotti, and Chronos. [18a]
- Chronos seems to have some kind of time-skip powers but it has neither been confirmed by Doom nor Doppio. [3m], [3n]
The magenta sun necklace limits Doom’s powers [3o]. The broken cuffs on his wrists are said to be Doppio’s double ring necklace, which was also used to restrain him. [3p]
Lives in a tower under the magenta moon with a giant number 4 on it. To reach this room, a person must wear a funky hat and teleport through an arcade game machine. [18b]
- Doom said that the space inside the tower is small, similar to the size of a closet. [18c]
- There are many cherry blossom trees around his home in the arcade and another residence that we do not know the details of. [24]
Has been confirmed to be the same person as D.A.D. (Doppio After Dark), who was the deep-voiced version of Doppio that would stream occasionally, sometimes late at night, and talk in a flirtatious manner. [3q], [19]
Likes peaches, cherry blossoms (sakura), and cheese. [25]
- Doom loves cheese so much that he once teleported to the Moon and ate most of it because Doppio convinced him it is made of cheese. Doom rated the Moon cheese a 5/10. [26a], [26b]

Fan Theories

The "weapon" Hachiroku most likely refers to the car model Toyota AE86, which looks similar to the car that appeared in the beginning of the Star Fetchers game stream. It prompted Doppio/Doom to suddenly start rapping and drop one of the earliest pieces of lore crumb. [33]

Dolce Dropscythe

Introduction

Debut Date: December 15, 2024
Birthday: March 13
Oshi marks: 🍩🎆
Title: The Sweetest Slugger
Fan Name: Cheerfeeder
- A wordplay on “cheerleader” and “feed” because she feeds off the energy she gets from our cheers for her. [13a]
Height: 161 cm + 6 cm heels [13b]
Has a tattoo on her right shoulder, and it appears similar to the inner design of Doom's jacket. [14]

Lore Fun Facts

Came from a different universe than Doppio, Poco Pio, and Doom.
- Dolce has been an avid baseball/softball player but has been in a bit of a rut because her team has not won any games in a while.
- Hit a car and sent it to the moon, which also destroyed the moon and caused a giant explosion. While running away from the police, she escaped to the subway which then teleported her to a different universe, thus meeting the three other Dropscythes.
She is a guest at the Arcade, but Doppio does not have a proper room for her, so she sleeps in the broom closet. [13c]
She has a sister whom we have not met yet or know the name of. Fans theorize that it is Pocappu. [13d]
Her favorite Dropscythe member is Poco Pio. They go shopping together and also buy groceries for the household. [10f]

Schrödinger's Pioverse Characters

Saito-san

Introduction

First appearance was on X/Twitter. [20]
Oshi Mark(s): 🫑🌧️
Occupation: Salaryman

Lore Fun Facts

Saito-san is Doppio if he’s in an alternative universe and did not become a Vtuber.
- Dropscythe → Droppusaito (ドロップサイト) → Saito-san (サイトさん)
Wears black-rimmed glasses and appears tired, with constant dark circles under his eyes.
Unlike Doppio, Saito-san swears naturally when stressed.
In all of his streams, Saito-san has been kidnapped and sent to horrific places; in the first occurrence, he was forced to become a Crime Scene Cleaner, and the second time he had to escape Frankie’s parkour playground.
- He could interact with chat, but he was not aware that he was streaming. [21a]
Despite many fans’ wishes, Saito-san’s existence is denied again and again by Doppio and other members of the Pioverse.
Likes and hobbies:
- Romance manga and newspaper comics. [21b], [22]
- Favorite food is strawberry shortcake. [21c]
- Favorite color is green (and maybe yellow). [21d]
- Looking at vegetable price sales and walking in the park on rainy days. [20]
Claimed that he does not smoke but drinks a bit of alcohol. [21e]
- Despite what he said in an earlier stream, he took a smoke break during his recent escape room stream. [34]

Dooorothy (Doorothy)

The female version of Doom.
- Named by Doppio. [27]
Doppio calls Doorothy his “imaginary waifu”.
Fans gave her the oshi marks 🌸🐺 and often ships her with Dolce. The ship name is Dolcebites, which is named by Doppio on stream. [28]

Pocappu

The female version of Poco Pio, who was thought to be purely fictional.
- Named by Doppio. It is short for "Poca Cappuccina". [29]
Poco Pio has tried to prove Pocappu's existence, heavily suggesting that she also lives in the Arcade as one of the Dropscythes.
- However, Doppio cannot see her and she has never appeared on stream either. [10g] Our limited knowledge of Pocappu is why she is listed under "Schrödinger's Pioverse Characters".
- Doppio's inability to see Pocappu might be the cause of some of Doppio's paranormal experiences. [10h]
Fans have theorized Pocappu to be the little sister that Dolce has hinted at.
