How and where should we read about traces of reincarnation on a birth chart?
This is an advanced Astrology article complementing Karma and reincarnation on a birth chart, recently published on medium.com. In this post, you'll find more details, basic concepts and explanations about this type of reading, to make it by your own and according to what you're especially interested in knowing on a chart.
Recapitulations
In a timeline, the vital energy recapitulates forms in matter that have been crystalized during previous developments.
Each recapitulation itself is some previous state of development, to which we add characteristics from our current experience during the present time. We can see it since the 7 years old, when the etheric body has already consolidated its shape, and the mental magnetism starts developing intention as a component of the vital structure.
The mentioned vital fact is just one of many we can see in a timeline, which inside of a karmic perspective is mainly considered at the times when Saturn in transit forms squares and oppositions to its birth position. Birth forms already crystalized are finished at the end of its first cycle, around the 29 years old. The end is a karmic liberation from those forms, in a period starting after the first 21 years of our life, during which the previous reincarnation was recapitulated.
For considering the forms of recapitulation, we can also take as a reference other planetary cycles, like those of the Earth or Jupiter (30° arch / terrestrial year). Whichever be the translation we're considering, each new year adds a particular tone that comes from the previous reincarnation, and it is observed in the configurations of the Zodiac at rest.

Rest
Converging times is a practical experience we live constantly, making the very time disappear as such. This is related to astrological matters as well as to fortune-telling, especially when using mancies for divination purposes (2). There's no remoteness nor abstractions in this, nor close or concrete matters, so focusing on subjects such as karma and reincarnation makes us losing the concept of time as well as relativizing density. In Astrology, it becomes a practice by considering both the Zodiac at rest and the Zodiac in motion, altogether.
The first one provides the experience of non-motion, of what has not been densified in a timeline (3). It's the Zodiac of non-differentiation, non-discrimination, non-separation. That's why all of the translations to be considered in it start from the beginning of Aries' portion. And that's the way we gather what is unfolded and what is not unfolded, both expressions converging over the years in our vital experience.
The resting Zodiac is a very useful matrix to study particular years or moments, and also to observe relations when some planets complete their cycles, and of course even much beyond Saturn's first return. For a start, you count on the following table to appreciate the annual arch distances each planet transits from rest until 21 years old, approximately.

The video is another way to visualize the same data although on birth charts. Exact aspects are especially relevant from a vital point of view, so the orbs are quite reduced for setting angles. On the table as well as on charts, just the North Node's positions are included, and you have to deduce the South's one and its aspects.
Pause the sequence in the year you're interested in the most to observe what the current reincarnation recapitulates for that period.

(4) If you're interested in the geometry at rest for later years, use the sidereal reference included in the previous table: ((365,25 x nº years) x 360° )/ days of the planetary cycle. Some distances will exceed 360°, so you'll have to subtract that number as many times as necessary to get a lower value than the complete arch. Then, place planets on the distances you got, starting from birth positions.
Rest & motion
Along with relations in no motion, then we have to consider birth charts in motion. It means we have to add arch distances (of the year or moment of interest) to birth positions.
The new positions add a particular tone that comes from the previous reincarnation. The tone has to be included in the specific vital development you're considering, and of course in the transit of that moment as a moulding characteristic. The resting Zodiac as a matrix is also a very useful tool to distinguish between "iterated" aspectations over time, which never happens.
For example, let's consider Saturn's classic aspectations inside of its cycle. The first square differs from the last one because of the lunar cycle's matrix that indicates processes of growth (1st) and processes of declining (2nd) during the Earth's revolutions. And after the 1st cycle, processes take place when birth karma has already been depleted, and inside of the specificities indicated by the unfolding of the Zodiac at rest, as a wholeness, at the time each one of those squares is formed over the sequenced cycles of the planet.
Vital facts of development
For getting the vital meaning of the relations observed across the Zodiac at rest, it's also basic to understand the temporary resonances that connect planets, and what each one of them facilitates as the participants separate from or get closer to each other, between 0° and 180° of distance, especially the connections of planets inside of the series of creation, which are the evolutional factor that impulse developments during raisings, changes of frequencies, solar vitalization and dynamics in forms (5).
Keep in mind that the article on Medium just mentioned the most important years during the esoteric solar development only during Saturn's cycle, exclusively pointing to the achievements that allow later to deplete birth karma from the 21 years old until the end of its first cycle (6).
On chart of year 9, the most important aspectations involve Jupiter. The great benefactor culminating in squares to the lunar nodes in their first hemicycle (at 270º and 180º, respectively), and with the axis' projections in opposition to birth position (rest), the year 9 brings a recapitulation that separates from lunar karma. A few days ago, Venus might have formed an exact opposition with Uranus (7) and, considering both planets belong to the series of creation, the effect of mental magnetism (Jupiter) will be potentiated from physical areas either (even by trines formed by karma's planets: Venus-Saturn and, some days ago, Mars-Uranus). The planet initiating the resonance to Jupiter will make the difference, which is Mercury at 127° from birth position, providing a particular directing consciousness for the forms of mental magnetism in action, in the incipient individual intention in the structure. The ways to displayed it will be indicated by those planets' and nodes' positions on the birth chart, after adding the referred arch distances to birth positions.

On chart of the year 12, Jupiter (the planet of life), the poles Venus-Marts joined, and North Node entering the house of pregnancy, are related to the beginning of puberty and the chance of a new vital replica.

On chart of the year 18, North Node returns two months after opposing Jupiter, in a special year for perceiving karmic patterns and giving a new orientation to the magnetism attached to them, as part of the process of transcending birth forms (from 14 to 21 years old).

The geometry of the resting Zodiac is the human matrix: it provides the vital meaning of its very recapitulation, is expressed in the circumstances of each year or moment of interest, and even redefines each transit over time.
(5) Some generic relations can be appreciated as karma of densification, for example the resonances of the planets of tge series of octaves beyond life on Earth. Other more specific ones, which are the ones of interest here, are related to the development of specific aspects in the human vital structure. (6) Forms and characteristics expressed during the liberation are what each human reincarnation in present time is about. They're the product of this very chance we're living in, the plus we produce. (7) Oppositions make it easier for the full expression of a sign, whereas conjunctions tend to mix qualities (subtract definition to the sign). Besides, conjunctions always provide a tone more related to Neptune, whereas oppositions are more related to Mars.
Meditations
Joining both the resting and motion perspectives takes to meditate on each phase of vital experiences. In astrological terms, we can easily see returns and transits as never iterating experiences, also seeing that converging times turn the usage and handling of psychic energy into an effective practice.
Along with the application of mental energy on matter, the vital energy goes through changes of direction, concentration, intensity and form, modifying both the evolutional axis, which is indicated by the lunar nodes on astral charts, and current developments indicated by the Sun's rising sign and its solar equivalences on the esoteric charts (8).
