If you want a durable, non-scratching tool kit to safely remove interior trim and fasteners for your van conversion or daily repairs, choose Tresalto 5; if you need a complete, weatherproof set of clearance marker lights to legally outfit your vehicle's exterior, choose Ledvillage Pack.
• Tresalto 5: The standout strength is its specialized nylon design that lifts panels without marring paint, but it is strictly an interior tool with no lighting capabilities. This pick is for the DIYer installing dash cams, speakers, or upgrading cabinetry who needs to protect delicate surfaces.
• Ledvillage Pack: The massive advantage here is the comprehensive 30-piece variety of amber, red, and white lights built for harsh outdoor conditions, yet it offers zero utility for interior mechanical work. This pick is for the van lifer or truck owner needing immediate compliance with road safety standards for side markers and clearance signals.
The Tresalto 5 kit solves a specific problem that plagues almost every DIY automotive project: the fear of damaging expensive finishes. When you are working inside a van, stripping down door panels to run wiring, or removing dash bezels to install a new radio, using a standard metal screwdriver is a recipe for disaster. Metal gouges easily slip into soft plastics and leave deep scratches on painted trim that simply cannot be buffed out. The Tresalto 5 addresses this head-on by utilizing four molded nylon pry tools. These are engineered to be firm enough to pop stubborn clips loose, yet soft enough to slide against dashboard surfaces, molding, and painted edges without leaving a single mark.
This kit is designed for versatility within the interior of a vehicle. The five distinct shapes cover the most common scenarios you will face during a renovation. You get two forked pry tools specifically shaped to slide under door panel clips, which is often the hardest part of disassembly. You also have two flat pry tools for opening seams on dash consoles and kick panels where the gap is tighter. Finally, the inclusion of a dedicated fastener remover with a metal tip allows you to hook and lift push pins and plastic rivets straight up, reducing the risk of snapping the clip head off. This combination means you do not need to juggle a bag of random tools; one slim kit handles everything from trunk liners to pillar covers.
Who should buy this? If you are building a custom interior, installing LED strips along the ceiling, or mounting a stereo system, this is essential gear. It fits perfectly in a glove box or toolbox drawer, making it accessible for quick fixes anywhere. However, you should skip this product if you are looking for something to illuminate your vehicle or if you need heavy-duty extraction tools for engine components. It is purely a precision interior removal tool. The lightweight design, weighing just over three ounces, ensures it does not add bulk to your storage space, but it is not a replacement for wrenches or power drills. It is the quiet hero of the garage, doing the delicate work that keeps your van looking pristine while you make it functional.

While the Tresalto 5 works on the inside, the Ledvillage Pack is built entirely for the outside world. This 30-piece bundle provides a complete solution for outfitting the sides of a truck, caravan, bus, pickup, or RV with the necessary clearance and side marker lights required for road safety. The set includes ten amber, ten red, and ten white lights, covering all the color codes needed for different positions on a vehicle. Each light unit is a compact 3/4-inch round button style, designed to be unobtrusive yet highly visible. The high brightness of these units comes from three quality SMD LEDs per fixture, delivering about 60 lumens each. This output is sufficient to ensure visibility in low-light conditions without draining your battery excessively, thanks to the energy-efficient design.
Durability is the core selling point for any lighting used in a mobile lifestyle. These lights are constructed with a silicone rubber housing and a PC lens, making them resistant to water, shock, dust, vibration, and extreme weather. Whether you are driving through a monsoon season or hitting dusty backroads, the waterproof and shockproof rating ensures the electronics remain protected. The long working life of 50,000 hours means you can install them once and forget about them, a crucial feature for vehicles that see constant movement. They are designed to withstand the rigors of travel without cracking or fading, unlike cheaper plastic alternatives that might degrade under UV exposure.
This pack is ideal for anyone who needs to upgrade their vehicle's lighting compliance quickly and economically. The installation process is straightforward and requires no complex wiring harnesses or drilling of large holes. You simply drill a hole for the rubber grommet, mount the light onto the rubber, and connect the included wires—black for positive and white for negative. The lack of screws simplifies the job significantly, reducing the number of parts that could get lost or stripped. However, if you need a single, powerful spotlight or a main headlight, this is not the product. It is strictly for side markers and clearance signals. It is perfect for the van lifer who wants to finish their build with legal, safe lighting without hiring a professional electrician.

I would choose the Tresalto 5 if my primary goal was to modify the interior of my van, such as adding insulation, running audio cables, or installing custom shelving, because the risk of scratching expensive materials is too high to ignore. Conversely, I would select the Ledvillage Pack immediately if I needed to equip my vehicle with proper side markers for road legality and safety. In my opinion, for a van life setup, you likely need both eventually, but they serve completely different masters. If I had to prioritize based on the data sheets provided, the Ledvillage Pack offers more immediate value for the "road-ready" aspect of van life, ensuring I am visible and legal, whereas the Tresalto 5 is a maintenance tool for the build phase. Ultimately, the Ledvillage Pack is the safer choice for getting on the road, while the Tresalto 5 is the smarter investment for keeping the vehicle's interior pristine during the build.
