The Trenton Area STEM Council is a collaboration of community-based organizations, K-12 schools, and universities with the common purpose of supporting the next generation of STEM Leaders. We do this by sharing our experience, resources, technologies, and expertise in STEM education.
The Trenton Area STEM Council supports Trenton and Mercer County youth and families to be able to:
Gain access and creative engagement in science knowledge and Social Emotional skills
Receive exposure to different STEM careers and professionals in the field
Thrive in and out of school and build our next generation of leaders in STEM
Meet every other month to share updates, discuss opportunities, and foster collaboration
Connect and support one another’s programs, events, and STEM initiatives
Coordinate efforts to expand equitable access to STEM resources and experiences
Promote youth engagement through events, mentorship, and hands-on learning
Share tools, best practices, and expertise across schools, universities, and community-based organizations
Create meaningful partnerships that support youth and family success in STEM
