असेल कुव्यात तर येईल पोहऱ्यात
तहानलेला एक कावळा
गेला एका मडक्याशी |
वाकून वाकून पाही त्यात
पाणी दिसते का तळाशी ||१||
खडे टाकून पाहू म्हणे
ऐकून थोरवी पूर्वजांची |
कोरडे ठक्क मडके अंती
भरले पूर्ण खड्यांनी ||२||
आधीच होते कंठी प्राण
त्यात वाही खड्यांचा भार |
पाण्यावीना अखेर त्याने
सोडले आपले तेथेच प्राण ||३||
