Frequently Asked Questions
TREE HOUSE FAQ
Q: Are you a business?
A: No. The tree houses are located at our family home and were originally built for our daughters. We simply enjoy sharing them with guests by appointment.
Q: Are you open?
A: Yes, but visits are limited and available by appointment only and weather permitting.
Q: Can we stop by?
A: Not without appointment. Because this is our home, all visits must be scheduled in advance.
Q: How do we schedule a visit?
A: Send us a postcard or letter with:
your name,
number of guests,
several possible dates and times,
your email address,
and your phone number.
We'll contact you if we're able to schedule a visit.
Q: What are your hours?
A: We generally schedule visits on weekends and post availability on our Facebook page.
Q: What months are you open?
A: Our season is usually late June through September, when the trees are fully leafed out.
Q: How many people can visit?
A: We prefer small groups and family visits. Large groups are generally not accommodated.
Q: Is there an admission fee?
A: No. There is no charge to visit.
Q: Can I drop off my child?
A: No. Parents or guardians must remain with their children during the visit.
Q: What if it rains?
A: Wet decks, stairs, and bridges can become slippery and unsafe. Visits may be postponed due to rain or wet conditions.
Q: Do you have winter hours?
A: No. For safety reasons, visits are limited to our regular summer season.
Q: What is your address?
A: 4677 Lakeville-Groveland Road,
Geneseo, NY 14454
Look for the large tan barn near the fork in the road.
Q: Why are visits limited now?
A: Family responsibilities, maintenance needs, and health considerations mean we can no longer host the large crowds we once welcomed. By limiting visits, we can continue sharing the tree houses while keeping them safe and enjoyable for everyone.Â
